Common questions
How much does a website cost?
Most projects with Ideavezy start around $1,500 for a clean, mobile-ready site with local SEO basics built in. Sites that need e-commerce, online booking, custom software, or multiple location pages typically run $2,500–$4,500, and larger custom platforms are quoted individually. The right number depends on scope — how many pages, whether customers buy or book online, and how many locations you serve. You get a fixed, itemized quote on a free audit call before any work begins, with no hourly billing surprises and no monthly retainer traps. Many Houston-area owners start lean and add features once the site is paying for itself, and we can phase the build that way on purpose so you launch quickly without overspending up front.
How long does a project take?
Most websites launch within 7–14 days of our first call. Because local-business and service-business sites are our specialty, we already know the structure that works, so we're not figuring it out on your dime. The timeline depends mostly on how quickly you can send content — logo, photos, services, and any existing copy. Week one is typically design and content; week two is build, integrations, testing, and launch. Custom software and larger platforms take longer and are scoped up front so you know the schedule before we start. You get a check-in at each stage, and if you have a hard deadline like a grand opening or a seasonal rush, tell us on the audit call and we'll build the schedule backward from your date.
What is your process?
Every project follows the same five stages: Discovery, where we learn your business, customers, and goals; Wireframe, where we map the structure and the path to a booking or sale; Design, where we build the look around your brand; Build, where the site is developed, made fast, and wired up with booking, SEO, and analytics; and Launch, where we test, submit your sitemap to Google, and go live. You get a check-in at each stage, so there are no black-box weeks where you don't hear from anyone. For custom software the stages are similar but include more discovery and testing. The goal throughout is a site built around how your customers actually decide — not decoration for its own sake.
Do I own my website?
Yes — completely. When the project is done, the site is yours: the code, the content, the domain, and the accounts. We don't build on a proprietary platform that locks you in, and we don't use bloated page builders that make you dependent on us or slow your site down. You can host it where you like and, if you ever want to work with someone else, everything transfers cleanly with no hostage situation. This matters more than most owners realize — plenty of agencies and DIY platforms keep you renting your own website forever. We'd rather earn your ongoing business by doing good work and staying responsive than by holding your site captive.
Do you provide support after launch?
Yes. A website isn't something you ship once and forget — it's something you grow. After launch we stay on for updates, fixes, new pages, and improvements as your business changes. Many clients keep us on for ongoing support indefinitely; others reach out only when they need something. Either way, you're working directly with the developer who built your site, so there's no ticket queue or account manager relaying messages. If something breaks, we fix it fast. If you want to add a feature — a new service page, a store, a booking upgrade — we scope it clearly and get it done. The relationship doesn't end at the invoice; that's a big part of why our clients stay.
